January Fun
We've been busy lately and I haven't had time to post things recently. So, I am putting in a slideshow of some of our recent activities. They include: visiting great-grandparents (Martin) in Farwell, Tx; having fun with the McGuire family and the Moore family; pictures of bath fun; and some miscilaneous stuff. We've been busy packing and sorting through our material possessions. It has been....a bit nerve-racking for Mommy. But, we are making progress. Maybe for our next post I can show you the mess that we have out!
We hope you all are doing well. Enjoy the pictures!

I hear about your stress! Twice we went through that - when moving to PR for me and when coming back to NY for both of us! We got rid of 80% of everything we owned, even our home, and the Lord gave us back 200%!
I know exactly what you are going through but to a smaller scale. We at least got to fill two cars and a trailer. I will tell you one thing. I got rid of a lot of stuff but in the end don't really miss any of it. I have stuff stored at my in laws and I don't even know what it is anymore. I hope you can pack and take the things that are the most special to you and your family. You guys are in out thoughts and prayers. We love you guys lots - Toni
love the pix of canaan. our thoughts are with you as you pack and sort. . it's SO hard! and we did it twice in 2006! I hope you don't pull your hair out and eventhough it's stressful and time consuming, i hope you can take the few moments out each day to give to canaan who will need the reassurance along the way. love you guys
Hey Lucy and Mike! It's Anyssa! I'm finally getting around to seeing your blog. I thought I lost your blog name but I stumbled upon it when I was cleaning out my diaper bag. Canaan is getting so big. I love those cheeks. Looks like ya'll had a great Christmas...I love your new JA ring. Great Job, Mike! When do ya'll leave for Russia?
canaan is so cute! i love the pics. looks like dad is already turned him into a red raider.
i can't imagine having to down size and move across the world with such a young child. hopefully we will be moving into a house soon, even that seems complicated in my mind. anyway, i hope that everything goes smoothly. God bless you for following his calling.
WOW - I know from moving to Houston that all of this is stressful. I can't imagine moving myself, husband, and baby to Russia though. I always love talking to you and am really going to miss you even though we haven't seen you too much. I was so glad you got to come see our home here. Love you - Nan
