I think I have probably written about this already, but I have some pictures now to go with it!When Canaan is playing with his toy cars, trucks, etc., sometimes he will put them night-night. At first, I thought he was telling me he wanted to go night-night. On the contrary, he was enjoying being able to put something night-night! I have no idea where he learned this concept! He just started doing it one day!

this is a super sweet little "habit." with regards to hippo pictures. . i stole this idea from rob and denyce who used the frog for chi and use a hedgehog for si. I started taking them when she was 6 days old, so for the first year they were always on the 12th of the month (her bday is the 6th) and after that i just try to remember to do them once/month, but not necessarily on the 12th anymore. Poor kid is going to have to take Lily the Hippo to her first day of kindergarten. . . high school, college, on her wedding day

How funny, I saw on my stat counter that someone arrived at my blog by googling "Canaan's Mommy" so I googled it too and found you. I'm a mommy to a baby boy Canaan also, age 16 months. :-)
